Is your controller drifting? We can replace the joysticks to help keep you aim straight. Joysticks seem to have a lifespan of about 400 hours of use, until the sensitivity and alignment goes out. Why buy a brand new one if we can get yours fixed for half the cost?

Don't ship your device off to someone and wait weeks for turn around, when you can get them repaired locally in the Des Moines and Ankeny area. Drop off is available anytime during normal business hours. Due to complexity of the repair, please allow around 24 hours turn around, without an appointment. We offer Rush Service for customers out of town, that don't want to make the trip a second time.

HDMI Ports

All Playstation and XBox models

This will fix issues with no display, this component is a common failure point on consoles. You'll usually see bent pins in the connector, but they can also break off inside the console.

USB C Ports

Nintendo Switch

This port is very prone to breaking on the Nintendo Switches, since most use this port daily to charge the device. This repair will fix, charging and docking issues. These ports are soldered directly to the boards, so they do take some time and skill to replace.

Battery Replacement

Devices like the Nintendo Switch, or your controllers have high demand on the battery. Most lithium ion batterys have a health life of 300-600 charge cycles. You will notice, even at full charge, the device just doesn't last as long as it used to. We can replace them!

Controller Charging Port

Did the charging port break off on your controller? Get that replaced in house, we will clean the joysticks as well for drift while repairing. This repair is aimed towards the more expensive controllers, like the Elite Series, or DualSense Edge controllers. It may not be an economical repair for entry level controllers.

Is your controller moving onscreen by itself? This is called controller drift. This usually happens after many hours of use. We can replace the joystick to get your aim back to perfection. Ask about package deals replacing the joystick and battery at the same time.

  He is the best, I broke my ps5’s HDMI port last Friday. I called everyone but everyone couldn’t fix it till Friday then I found Iowa iRepair I got an appointment for Saturday and he called me and asked if I wanted to drop it off that day I agreed and he fixed it by the next morning!   We usually go to see Chad with Ankeny Fix it, but when he let us know he was out of town until later than we could wait, he immediately suggested we go see Dustin at Iowa iRepair!  I'm so glad to see businesses that are "competitors" supporting each other!  Dustin did a great job replacing a touch screen for an iphone X we had and we would gladly take our devices back to him.  His predicted time to get the item finished was 30 minutes, but I received a text not 20 minutes after I had dropped it off saying he was finished and that we could come pick it up at our convenience.
